BUSINESS TERMS

By submitting an assignment, requesting services, or utilizing any service provided by Lake Norman TNT, LLC, the client agrees to the following general terms, conditions, and expectations.
1. ASSIGNMENT ACCEPTANCE
Assignments are accepted based on availability, service area, and operational considerations. An assignment is not considered accepted until confirmed by Lake Norman TNT, LLC., and a quote approved by the client for the service(s).
2. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Clients are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and timely information necessary to perform the requested services, including names, addresses, court documents, deadlines, and special instructions. Clients must promptly notify Lake Norman TNT, LLC of any updates, corrections, or changes that may affect the assignment, and by doing so, understand that additional fees may be applied for changes and/or services.
Lake Norman TNT, LLC is not responsible for delays, failed service attempts, missed deadlines, or additional costs resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information provided by the client.
3. FEES AND PAYMENT
Fees are earned upon performance of services, travel, service attempts, research, court filing activity, document handling, or other assignment-related work, regardless of whether the service is ultimately completed.
Payment may be required in advance for certain assignments. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are due upon receipt. Accounts with outstanding balances may be subject to service suspension until payment is received. Some accounts may have a late fee of $10 per month for unpaid invoices.
4. CANCELLATIONS
Clients should promptly notify Lake Norman TNT, LLC if an assignment is canceled, settled, withdrawn, or no longer requires action. Fees may be charged for work performed, travel incurred, service attempts made, or expenses incurred prior to cancellation.

expedited assignments, Same-day, after-hours, weekend, or holiday requests, Additional service attempts, Skip tracing or investigative research, Court filing or document retrieval services, Excessive waiting time, Mileage outside standard service areas, Parking, tolls, or special access fees, Material changes to an assignment after acceptance
6. DEADLINES
While Lake Norman TNT, LLC makes reasonable efforts to complete assignments promptly and professionally, the client remains solely responsible for all court dates, filing deadlines, statutes of limitation, service deadlines, hearing dates, and other legal requirements.
Lake Norman TNT, LLC does not guarantee completion of any assignment by a specific date or time unless expressly agreed to in writing. Assignment completion may be affected by circumstances beyond our control, including inaccurate information, evasive subjects, restricted access, weather, court closures, or other unforeseen conditions.
7. NO LEGAL ADVICE
Lake Norman TNT, LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, legal strategy, or legal representation. All services provided will follow the rules for the State of North Carolina, no matter where the service request originates.
8. REPORTS AND AFFIDAVITS
Affidavits of Service, Declarations of Due Diligence, field reports, photographs, and related documentation are prepared based upon information available at the time services are rendered. Clients are responsible for reviewing all documents upon receipt and promptly requesting any necessary corrections.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Lake Norman TNT, LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from services provided. Any liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific assignment giving rise to the claim.
10. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE Lake Norman TNT, LLC reserves the right to refuse, suspend, discontinue, or terminate any assignment when required by law, when fraud or misrepresentation is suspected, when unsafe conditions exist, or when circumstances prevent lawful, ethical, or professional completion of the assignment.
11. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Submission of an assignment, request for services, payment of fees, or utilization of any service provided by Lake Norman TNT, LLC constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
