Terms and Conditions Lake Norman TNT, LLC Effective Date: March 2, 2026
Services Provided:
Lake Norman TNT, LLC provides professional services, including but not limited to:
Process Server; Mobile Notary; Loan Signing Agent; Fingerprinting service, and other field services.
All services are subject to availability and scheduling.
We reserve the right to refuse service when:
- Identification requirements are not met
- Signers appear unwilling or unable to understand documents
- The transaction appears fraudulent or illegal
- Safety (any) concerns exist
Notary Public Services
Notarial acts performed by our commissioned notaries comply with the laws of the State of North Carolina and may stop any process at anytime for any reason deemed necessary by the agent.
Clients acknowledge the following:
- Notaries are not attorneys and cannot provide legal advice.
- Notaries do not draft legal documents unless specifically authorized by law.
- Clients are responsible for the content, accuracy, and legality of their documents.
- Proper identification must be presented at the time of notarization as required by North Carolina law.
Fingerprinting Services:
Lake Norman TNT, LLC provides fingerprinting services for identification, background checks, licensing, and employment requirements.
Clients understand and agree:
- Fingerprints may be submitted to authorized agencies if requested by the client.
- We do not control background check results or agency processing times.
- Fingerprint rejection by agencies due to poor print quality or other issues is outside our control.
- Fees for fingerprinting services are non-refundable once services are performed.
Appointment Scheduling and Cancellation:
- Appointments may require confirmation prior to service.
Clients agree to the following:
- Late arrivals may require rescheduling.
- If a client fails to appear for a scheduled appointment, service fees will still apply.
- Travel fees may apply for mobile services.
Payment Terms:
Payment is due before services are rendered unless otherwise agreed.
Accepted payment methods may include:
- Credit cards
- Debit cards
- Electronic payments
- Returned payments or chargebacks may result in additional administrative fees.
- Travel Fees
- Mobile services may include travel fees based on distance, time, and scheduling requirements.
Travel fees apply even if a notarization cannot be completed due to:
- Missing identification
- Incomplete documents
- Signer refusal
- Client cancellation upon arrival
- Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lake Norman TNT, LLC shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Document errors created by clients or third parties
- Delays caused by government agencies
- Rejected fingerprint submissions
- Loss resulting from incorrect or incomplete documents provided by clients
- Our liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific service provided.
